The Thornton Steward Parish AGM took place on Thursday 25th May. After seven years of serving as the Parish Chairperson, Maureen Ayre and Finance Officer, James Brierley have retired from those posts. Thanks were expressed to both of them for their work on the part of the Parish during their tenure.

There is to be an Extraordinary Parish Meeting on Wednesday 5th July in The Institute, Thornton Steward, to plan a way forward.  Refreshments will be served. All welcome. A formal notice regarding this meeting will be delivered around the Parish.
