Thornton Steward Parish Meeting requires a
Parish Clerk from the 1st April 2019.
The position entails forwarding emails to
villagers, preparing and sending out Notices
of Meetings, taking minutes of meetings and
typing out for the village website.
An Honorarium of £500 is paid for the position.
The Parish Meeting also requires a
Finance Officer from the 1st April 2019.
This is a voluntary position and entails keeping
a cash book in Excel and sending out cheques
for purchases by the Parish Meeting,
compiling the Annual Return, signing and
returning to the Auditors.
Please note that without anybody filling the
above positions, the future of Thornton Steward
Parish Meeting is in jeopardy.
