Mark Pybus of Crabtree Community Broadband has been in contact with the Parish Meeting Chairperson to say:

' We would be delighted to begin extending our network into Thornton Steward.  In Ellingstring, with our wireless fibre, we are achieving between 20 – 30 mbps download speed and there is no reason why this won’t be possible in Thornton Steward.  We can also provide a phone service that does not require a BT landline, thus reducing this cost.'
